Sans frontman Mike and newest member, guitarist Andy, we sat down with drummer Pierre, Bun on bass, and saxophone player Shannon from Reno Ska punk band ,the legendary Sucka Punch!
We go through the origins, timeline and many members of the longest running hardcore ska band in Reno.
It’s a hilarious and fascinating story of a band in constant flux, spanning decades.

From the mid Nineties to the very active present, we really enjoyed the ride. We hear tracks from their greatest hits and we give Bun and Shannon the virgin podcast treatment with a thrilling round of the worst little quiz.

We would be remiss to not mention the passing of Reno music and arts legend, Oliver X. We were blessed to have known and worked with him on several occasions throughout the years. His love and energy he gave to all things Reno, his warmth and smile will surely be missed. X Fest: a celebration of Oliver X will be held at the downtown Reno plaza, by the BELIEVE sculpture Sunday August 20 2023 ,1-8pm, FREE, all ages.
