Condemned Existence – S9 E2
Hello! We’re live from the recent, frozen past this week with podcast virgins Condemned Existence! We’re talking about the state of the Reno scene, Rory throws some shade (and light!), and we ask important questions like “does playing rock and roll get you laid?” (spoiler: not really). It’s always terrifying when the gang bang starts with this much enthusiasm. Press play!
Condemnded Existence describes their sound as a blend of fast thrash parts with groovy rhythms and breaks. They most recently opened for the amazing Ned Flanders themed metal band, Okily Dokily! Their next show is March 22 in Concord. Follow their social medias to keep an eye out for their EP release happening soon.

S8 E6
Hi, Reno! Welcome to the Worst Little Podcast! This week Rory, Nick, and Dogwater Dick are hosting the show, featuring Reno country duo, Huckleberry Road! Robbie and Anthony sat down with us to talk murder songs, marketing, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster. And there’s music! Press play!
Huckleberry Road is an American Country group with rock and traditional country music roots formed by Robbie James and Anthony Vairetta of Sil Shoda. Listen up to hear how they transitioned from a well known hard rock band to Reno country staples.
If you listened to the show you heard our call for murder songs. We aren’t kidding! I think… Regardless, send in your stuff. We will make that Reno murder song compilation happen. Thanks again to Huckleberry Road for hanging out with us this week. Check in next week for Cowboy Indian!
There’s a ton of cool shit happening this weekend in the Biggest Little City. Here’s Kim’s picks:

Saturday – Skate Jam 2018: Round 5 at Jub Jub’s. Check out local favorites Vampirates and Prince Robot, along one of my favorite bands from Sacramento, Knocked Down, and much much more!
We’ll see you out there, Reno. Thanks for listening!
Josiah Knight – S7 E4
Well look at what the cat dragged in!
The Worst Little Podcast S7 E3 – Download Link
Josiah Knight, a folk/Americana singer/songwriter from Reno, NV, stops by the studio again at the top of Season 7. Longtime supporter of the show (check out his episode from Season 3), Josiah remains quite active in the Reno music scene, becoming a staple performer at many an acoustic or folk showcase, like Reno’s own Loud As Folk. In fact, his song is available on the Loud As Folk website: www.loudasfolk.com/recordings.
Josiah is hitting the road here in a few days to bring his own brand of murder ballads to lovely and vibrant Southern Oregon for a few weeks. Please check him out and support him in his travels. He’s a swell dude with a luxurious and regal beard.
In other news – SK8 JAM at Jub Jubs is just one week away, the think tank for Return To Nowhere is spooling up this weekend out at Middlegate Station. Friend of the show, Brian Jackson tells us that we should be looking out for Brother Paul , a blues musician from the Stockton area who has recently released his album “Cadillac Pickup Truck”, a retrospective of his last 10 years of writing and playing blues and rock.
Thanks for listening!
End of the Line – Gettin’ Punked Up – S4 E33

Piss off, wankers!
The Worst Little Podcast – S4 E43 – Download Link
Sometimes, even doing something for the love gets frustrating and turns into a grind. Then punk rock happens and everything feels better. End of the Line comes into the studio and kicks a little insensible sense back into our heads this week. End of the Line, a Reno punk rock band, is Milton Bradshaw, Bre Fretz and Rich Davies. They’re yell-y, crass, irreverent, offensive and totally wonderful.
Playing in this particular lineup for a fairly short time, End of the Line has been making a mark and is gaining traction in the Reno music scene in recent months. We had a late cancellation and they made the time to swoop in and fill the show this week on short notice, which always puts points up on the big board. They lay down a handful of tunes for us and bang out some old school. “Hippie Chick” is a standout tune, as is “Lovesong”… really… enjoy!
Also in the house is man-about-town, and good friend of the show, Dave Masud. Dave stopped by to plug his upcoming event, Skate Jam 2015, hosted in the showroom at Jub Jub’s Thirst Parlor. The event will be all-ages, featuring bands, skate ramps, contests, raffles, SKATE RAMPS, prizes, food, drinks, SK8 RAMPZ and 12 BANDS!! Dave is workin’ hard to keep punk rock and skating alive for the people who really matter – the freakin kids. So, go to Skate Jam. For the kids. And Dave.
Nick, Rory, Chewie and Rick talk about “Tooth of Crime“, kids, shows and a bunch of other crap. Lots of awesome shows coming up.
Anyhoo… thanks for Listening!
