We kick off the awesome autumn season of change with one of the best Reno lads out there. Finally able to legally be in bars and casinos. A multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, Grimtone and Beatle impersonator, Michael Tegio.
It’s a fun journey learning of the growth, hard work and musical obsessions on Michael’s path towards his dreams and survival. So far, the universes’ hurdles become opportunities and that has a lot to do to his positive attitude and contagious radiant energy.
We do all the usual games with the Knack as our GSBS band of the week.
Dave Richards stopped by at the top of the show to talk about Sex Drugs Rock and Roll, a play by Eric Bogosian directed by Dave and featuring our own Nick and Rory from WLP. There are four chances to catch it. Friday October 16 7pm at Black Rabbit Meade on Fourth Street in Reno with indie pop rock band Roxxy Collie joining the fun before the play and a full set afterwards. Saturday, October 17, 7pm at Black Rabbit Meade, with progressive rock group Neon Breakfast also warming up the audience before the show and playing the Zombie Crawl afterwards.
In Carson City you can catch Sex Drugs Rock and Roll October 23 at the Brewery Arts Center Blackbox Theatre 7pm, with Nick and Rory’s dadpunk band, One Ton Dually bring the rock. Finally, at Brewery Arts Center, Saturday October 24, closing night Halloween open cast party with horror goth rockers (the)Glitter Bats!
We hope you can catch one of these performances.
Thank you Dave and thank you Michael!
Thank you dear listeners.
Life is short and we love you!
