Holy shiznit! It’s our long lost intern from 2014’s Season 4, JB! Actually known as Grant Allen, our youngest intern ever returns to the Dogwater Studios after 12 long years.
His musical project is called Redacted.NV and you guys, it’s really frickin’ good. Grant has been developing his sound, writing a lengthy catalogue of originals and a ton of covers to boot. We get a fantastic cover on our Patreon bonus show(patreon.com/worstlittlepodcast) and live in studio originals plus a fully produced “band” track, for right here on the regular show. We talk about Grants influences which are vast, but you can really hear a big emo pop style that comes through the music. We hear an exclusive track that won’t be available for another month. Wishful Thinking is his new single that drops October 30.With Grant on bass and guitars and his producer Andrew W. on keys, drums and backing vocals. It’s a banger for real.
We talk about MySpace music, meeting movers and shakers at the open mic, and a recap of the first and hopefully continuing festival, Rage on West Street at Wingfield Park this past Saturday. We play an unforgettable round of the worst little quiz, as well as Good Song Bad Song with the White Stripes!
It’s a great episode with nostalgia, hardcore humor, beautiful music and chosen family. Press play and join a full house of fun, laughs and excellent music from Redacted.NV aka the amazing Grant Allen. Life is short and we love you. Thanks for listening.
