We have a great show for you this week with the fabulous R&B hip hop artist Erika Malone and her back up singers Monique and Tekia.
We start with the heaviest song, about loss and grief, and healing. All from Erika’s life experience. We hear both singing and rapping tunes with backing tracks and live vocals.
Erika is a charming woman with a beautiful voice, and her performances feel comforting, intricate and real. Having a long history of singing in Vegas shows and tribute acts etc., Erika is happy to be sharing her original music with us and on her new album to be released very soon. Monique and Tekia provide killer backup vocals and call and response parts. They are both super charming, fun, and solid in having Erika’s back, giving the songs a bigger and more dynamic sound. They are wonderful additions to an already powerful lead vocal.
