After a little summer hiatus we are back with three of the seven member band Bark Hardly. Eclectic indie folk music might be a good description.
Present: Henry on acoustic and vocals, Maddie vocals (and trombone at the shows?!) Joe plays bass, but just came to talk.
Absent band members: Nico drummer, Dalton piano, Cornelius lead git and Brandon on saxophone.
We hear an acoustic performance and recorded tracks, including a touching tribute to Bruce Lindsay, Henry’s dad and dear friend of Nick and Rory.
That’s right folks, Thee Reverend Rory Dowd came in this week to recap his weekend with the family at the Mosswood Meltdown music festival in Oakland with a bunch of rock and roll hosted by WLP’s spirit animal, the pope of trash, John Waters!
We’re all over the place as usual. Shakespeare on the lake, clown hotels in the desert and songs about life and the world are just some of the topics we touch on this week.
For our usual fun and games we play the worst little quiz and Good Song Bad Song. Lots of laughs and insight for sure.
A great time was had by all!
Life is short and we love you.
Thanks for listening.
