Kadillac Kim, Anna Mouse, Amy Lee, Nick, Chewie and Dogwater Dick all got together for a very special WLP Thanksgiving episode with music curated by Chewie! (Also known as Josh Martin.)
Our dear friend and co host has created a fun, totally not safe for work mixtape from his collection of music by touring bands that he discovered while employed as a doorman in the late nineties and early two thousands. We get highly entertaining tracks from The Elvi, The Gluey Brothers, Brian Kenney Fresno, Wesley Willis, and Grand Buffet.
Although we missed Rev Rory, we are all looking forward to seeing him for his 50th birthday Roast! Dec. 8 at Alturas.
We had a feast, a lot of laughs, some tears and a whole lotta love this week. We’re all very thankful for our families, each other, our wonderful guests and for you dear listeners.
Our hearts and thoughts are with Josh and his family, as he shares the passing of his mother. We love you Chewie.
