Get Bent! – S7 E31
Welcome to this week’s Worst Little Podcast!
Kim, Rory, and Rick are sitting down with part of the cast of the musical Get Bent: A Gender Bent Musical Review. In the studio we have Michelle, Stephanie, and the lovely Xelena – Empress of the Impossible – here to fill us in on their latest gender bending production. They answer the hard questions and share a few songs from the show. So listen up and play along at home.
For Sisters Three Productions co-creators/producers Michelle Calhoun and Stephanie McMullen, it was important to show that a part can be just as impactful when done by the opposite gender for which it was written, and at times even more powerful. “Get Bent” is an original production that will feature famous musical numbers but with a twist: everything is gender bent. Proceeds of this production will benefit Our Center, a local shelter for programs, services, and resources for the LBGTQ community in Reno.
See Get Bent starting November 10th at The Potentialist Workshop. Show dates and tickets can be found here. This production is suitable for ages 13+, and the after dark show (Saturday at 10 pm) is suitable for ages 18+. Thanks to the cast of Get Bent for being on the show!

On a sad note, we are heartbroken to hear the news that our friend, Scott Dundas, lost his son over the weekend from a hit and run driver. Please click here to help support the Dundas family in their time of grief. Nobody expects these things to happen and any amount you can give will help ease the family’s financial burden at this horrible time. It’s a good time to remember that life is short and we love you.
