We are back and the doctors in session!

Sophia Shortz on vocals and keyboard,  Jacob McCoy on guitar and vocals, also on guitar Christopher Profera, Skye Powers on bass and Quinton Bunk on drums. Together they’re collectively known as…. inpatient… the band…. outta Reno…

Yup all lower case. inpatient.

This quintet of awesome is some of our favorite new music to come out of Reno in a minute. A cool mix of garage rock, synthy new wave sonic outer space sounds that feel familiar and yet unlike anything else you’ve ever heard!

Their shows are a total blast and they have gotten even tighter since our last podcast together a year and a half ago. Their chemistry is amazing. 

They recently released their debut E.P., Trauma Bond, on all platforms and are on Instagram for social connection. @inpatient.reno 

We talk about everything from the recent Friends of P benefit, local bands with mad game, our GSBS band STP to high school angst and bicycle porn! 

It’s a crazy fun show with a bunch of crazy fun folks.

We’re not doctors but we recommend an aural dose of inpatient.

This week we have another new band! They are called inpatient, and they rip.

Hardcore punk riot girrrl with art rock vibes might be a decent description for inpatient.

We talk about many topics including B movies, Australia, and Alanis Morrisette. We also get a review of Timothèe Chalamet films Sophia hasn’t seen. So good,chefs kiss!

Our only virgin to the podcast, Christopher, takes the quiz, passing with flying colors and everyone shares earthquake stories. inpatient will be playing New Years Eve at 40 Mile Saloon with friends of the show Ozymandias and Deadly Gallows.
