Greetings from all of us at the Worst Little Podcast. This week we’ve got party rockers and panty droppers Evil Ash back in the studio. It gets loud. It gets weird. Rick may or may not have been naked in the other room. Press play to find out!
Evil Ash formed when Patrick Gleason and Johnny Fernandez found Ryan “Freebird” Freeman drunk by a hobo stand at a railway station. They’ve been making noise ever since.
Thanks to Evil Ash for getting drunk with us this week. Now go see a show. Here are a few of the good ones:

Thankfully we’re not burning and we’re not flooding! Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the recent natural disasters. We love you. This week we’re joined by JUST Rory and Rick because they told me not to come in. It’s okay because I really *was* scissoring the drummer from SWIGS. You guys were all spot on. ANYWAY! Y’all are in for some great instrumental surf punk, some talk about old naked Satanists, and jokes about me (Kadillac Kim, in case you’re not following along) hooking up with our podcast guests! We even have new interns to make fun of! Don’t worry guys, you too can be like me with enough ambition and a vagina… oh wait. As fun as it is to talk about incest and Satanism, we actually have a band here, so let’s get into some music.
Riptide Bandits have been around for a “really long time”, according to band members. They are so legendary they don’t even need to know when they formed. It is as if they always existed. They might be vampires.
Riptide Bandits is Leif, Grouch, Andy, and Jonathan. Keep an eye out for upcoming shows at Headquarters Bar in October then at Marianarchy! You can see Jonathan with his other band, SWIGS, on September 22nd at Alturas on the DL! They join The Habituals for an End of Summer Tiki Party. Let’s make tiki torches great again!
Thanks to Riptide Bandits for coming on our humble podcast. Reno loves you guys!

On this weeks episode of
Little House on the Prairie Worst Little Podcast we learn about the birds and the bees punk rock! It’s as simple as one-two-three-four! Helping us learn about punk rock (can you say ‘punk rock?’ I knew you could), is Reno’s very own Evil Ash! Evil Ash has been mixing it up at low-brow venues across our fair city for the last couple of years. It was high time they stopped by Dogwater for a session.
We had a lot of fun talking to them – lots of short fast songs too! But unfortunately, Evil Ash don’t have anything lined up firmly yet (Rick made sure no one was firm at the end of the show
). You other bands, looking for someone to play with (like Rick… or Freebird) need to get these boys on a bill with you.
In other Reno news, please come out and see Eric Foreman perform at Foxy First Friday this weekend. Also be sure to catch Eddie and the Subtitles with Crawling Out and DJ 50 Spence at Shea’s!! Old SKOOL NITE!
Thanks for Listening!
