S14E24 United Defiance: 20 Years and Forward
This week we have a special zoom call with lead singer and guitarist of United Defiance, Clinton Smith. Zooming in from Crockett California just a few miles away from most of his bandmates and rehearsal studio, Clinton shares his tales of being a lifelong punk rocker, 20 years with UD and his other band he plays drums with System 86.
In fact we get a couple tracks from them and United Defiance. You can find them on all the usual platforms.
Both NorCal punk bands play Reno often and most notably Reno Punk Rock Flea Market events. Thanks Kim!
Driving and positive with an emphasis on moving ever forward, through the ups and downs. Especially the downs and the growth that can come from them. Great talk, fun quiz too!
Kim gives you the hot shows coming up and Nick recaps the first night of Nowhere Nevada’s 10th Anniversary Screening. There will be a second screening in Carson City August 31st at the Brewery Arts Center. Also, sadly we say goodbye to Pongo. Rick and Carlos, from everyone, sorry for your loss. We will miss you Pongo. You truly were a good dog.
Ah technology, thank you for making this possible. Thank you, Clinton, United Defiance and System 86, for another great episode. Thank you cast and crew. Thank you, worst little listeners, life is short, and we love you.
