We have a full house of hosts tonight including a new face, Kadillac Kim (that’s me, hello). Our guest tonight is award winning disabled athlete, Trevor Snowden. Snowden’s larger than life, hope-filled presence is almost too big for the studio. In 1997, Trevor was preparing for a career in extreme snowboarding when he suffered a catastrophic spinal injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Trevor pulls no punches when talking about how his injury has affected his life. In addition to being an athlete, he is an inventor, video game designer, and rapper. Trevor’s full-length album, The Wheelchair Extraordinaire, is available on iTunes. Listen in for a yet to be released track and Worst Little Podcast exclusive from Trevor and learn about what he has in the works or just where to find him singing karaoke.

Trevor Snowden in the studio sharing Worst Little Podcast exclusives just for you!
Over the years Snowden became increasingly unhappy with the standard wheelchairs insurance provided so he invented his own custom wheelchair specifically designed to provide athletes to stay active. This wheelchair is now known as the Trevair. Trevor’s invention has helped him launch a new off- roading sport, wheelchair supercross. Snowden holds the world record for jumping 55ft over cars in a wheelchair and his stunts have been featured in Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

Thanks to Trevor Snowden for being on the show and for sharing his story!

Welcome to this weeks VERY not safe for work (or anywhere, really) episode of The Worst Little Podcast! This week we’re reflecting on awkward first porn experiences with Reno hardcore band Down and Out. Come for the gay jokes and tentacle porn and stay for the music and Nathan’s phone number. Down and Out is made up of Ian Ferriot- Vocals, Nathan Koop- Guitar\Vocals, Daryl Smith- Guitar, Colin Ferriot- Bass\Vocals, and Kyle Smith- Drums.

Nathan Koop – Guitar/Vocals

Daryl “two thumbs up” Smith – Guitar
Down and Out just wrapped up recording their first EP and have recently played with Reno punk rock staples Reno, We Have a Problem and Jukebox Rebels in Fallon, as well as opening for Booze and Glory at Shea’s. Keep an eye on their Facebook and Instagram for upcoming show dates and listen in to hear a handful of the hard rocking, anger channeling tracks that were recorded live from the recent past, just for you, loyal listeners. Thanks again to Down and Out for joining us this week. Y’all are the tits. Join us next week when we welcome Trevor Snowden to the studio for more of the weekly shenanigans you have come to expect from the dedicated professionals (lol) at Worst Little Podcast.

Colin Ferriott – Bass/Vocals/Lifter of Heavy Things

Kyle Smith – Drums
While you’re waiting for Down and Out to play another Reno show you should support your local music scene. As always there’s no shortage of live shows in Reno this weekend and lucky for you I’ve picked your best bets already so you don’t have to! Friday, June 16th see Viva Revenge. Prince Robot, and Slutsville share a stage at Jub Jub’s. Saturday is Reno’s biggest and best folk showcase, Loud As Folk (event link), with Six Mile Station and Cowboy Indian opening for Hellbound Glory (!!!). It’s at new bat time and a new bat venue (RIP Adam West), 2 p.m., June 17th at The Eddy. After Loud As Folk, take a short walk to The Basement for some indie jazz/rock with Raksha Paksha and Reno anthem singer Grace Hayes at 8 p.m. If you haven’t been to the Basement (in the old Post Office) this is the perfect chance to fix that!

Anything more than a handful is a waste, right?

Ian Ferriott – Vocals, with Worst Little Podcast’s host with the most, Rory Dowd.
Go do things and don’t forget to stay classy, Reno. Or stay Reno classy. You do you.
Thanks for listening!
PhÆDRx – Solo Machinations – S7 E17
Greetings, weary travellers!
The Worst Little Podcast in the World – S7 E16 – Download Link
This week we’re introducing you to a Reno musician who is off the beaten path. PhÆDRx is the project, Dennis is his name. Combining strong songwriting skills and musical styles from many eras and influences, PhÆDRx is a musical exploration of metaphysical themes. Dennis composes and writes all of these original works; what’s even more impressive is that he also plays all the parts himself, from strings to drums to synth and the ol’ mouth harp. Many of the songs you will hear on the show are acoustic versions of fully produced songs that are available on the website.
Though soft-spoken, Dennis has an alluring voice and strong storytelling skills. Classic bait-and-switch. Enjoy the tunes and check out the sites. We hope to see PhÆDRx playing out at Reno venues soon this summer. Keep an eye out for his album “Always Look Up”, releasing later this summer.
Hope to see you all out at the shows this weekend! On the Theater Front, we have STUPID FUCKING BIRD closing it’s run at Bruka, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind at RLT and The Comedy of Errors at the Lear. On the music side, Sonic Mass at 40 Mile on Friday and the boys in One Ton Dually will be opening up for Three Rounds on Saturday.
Thanks for Listening!

After a month away to get hitched and buy a house (congrats again!) we’re excited to welcome Rory back to the show! This week our hosts are hanging out with retro alt-rockers from Reno, Asphalt Socialites. Listen up to hear what they have to say about their favorite Reno venues and promoters (hi, Georgette!) and to find out about what’s next for the band (they’re coming for you, Los Angeles).
Asphalt Socialites are Robb Russo – Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar/Keyboard, Travis Echevarria – Drums, Ken Zimmerman – Bass Guitar/Synth/Backing Vocals, Scott Taylor – Lead Guitar, Keyboard.
Asphalt Socialites will be opening for Dennis Quaid (yes, that Dennis Quaid) and the Sharks at Whiskey a Go-Go at the end of this month. If you find yourself in LA make sure to grab some tickets to the show! Asphalt Socialites will be back in Reno in September with Desert Tundra!
Thanks to Asphalt Socialites for being on this week’s show and for the great tunes!
There’s a lot to get excited about in Reno this weekend. Friday night our friends at The Saint are hosting a Planned Parenthood fundraiser featuring Eddie and the Subtitles, The Grimtones, and Elephant Rifle. Next weekend, Nick and Rory’s band, One Ton Dually, is playing Sheas’s with Vegas band Three Rounds, Donkey Jaw and Juke Box Rebels!
Go out and see a local show!

Frankly Fictitious – Non-fiction Apology – S7 E15
Great Googly-Moogly!
The Worst Little Podcast – S7 E14 – Download Link
Due to an un-forseen series of technical issues, miscommunication, spinal injuries and a sheer bone-headedness, this week’s episode is unforgivably late. Reverend Rory issues his deepest apologies to Frankly Fictitious, a Reno NV rock trio. Reverend Rory promises that the person or persons responsible will be sacked and fired with real fire. (but since that ‘person or persons’ is him, it’s unlikely that he will take any action).
Frankly Fictitious takes their inspiration from tough 70s rock and snotty punk rock, creating, well, whatever it is that they think they’re doing. A strong entry from some serious dorks. They are Kaden Barmore -Vocals/Lead Guitar, Jonathan Louis-Drums and Jason Van Havel-Bass.
Reverend Rory is out for his final week off this year. Nick and Rick do a recap of just how awful the wedding is and promote events that have already passed. Again, sincere apologies to the band. He owes you drinks.
Thanks For Listening.
