GREETINGS PODCAST FANS! Welcome to Season 11 – we are excited to have you with us, once again. We hope your holiday and new year was merry and bright. It’s a whole new world! Now: back to the music!

We are stoked and honored to welcome Basement Tapes back to the show! Travis, Amy, Deb and Bob all popped into the zoomroom to hang out with us for this first episode of the new era. (Garret was busy with lame things like ‘getting a good night sleep for work’, but we wont hold it against him… yet)

Armed with a handful of new songs, they are ready to release a new album – and you get a sneak peek at the tracks right here. Join us to hear how they have coped with writing and recording amidst a pandemic (fairly well, tbh) and other adventures in music!

On the horizon: Check out Reno Punk Rock Flea Market’s Valentine Slay – an online fundraiser for The Generator – Kadiallac Kim is one of the organizers, once again, and we are excited for what they have in store this year in a re-vamped online event.

Next Week: Asphalt Socialites

Thanks for Listening!

Greetings from the Best Little City in the world!

Rory, Nick, Rick, and Chewy bring you this week’s podcast from a not so hot and sweaty studio (because Kim’s not there). This week we are joined by Lee, Perry, Amelia, and Travis from Basement Tapes! Listen up for some top notch Reno garage rock and learn how many times we should forgive someone before we’re allowed to punch them!

But FIRST we are joined briefly by excellent Reno songwriter, Greg Gilmore. Greg is talking to us about/premiering his new single, What Am I? Check out his Facebook page for video’s and music links. Let’s listen to some music!

Greg Gilmore joined us to debut his new single, Who Am I?

But back to Basement Tapes. Basement Tapes describes their music as retro, 60s, raw, high-energy garage rock. Revisiting a time when music had music had soul, with post-modern punk attitude, melodic, grooving bass lines, thunderous rolling drums, powerful crashing guitar riffs and a harmonious couple on vocals. Basement Tapes plays straight-forward simple rock and roll.

Trevor “Trevair” Snowden – Stomie Hole – S7 E19

Hello and Welcome to the Worst little Podcast!

The-Worst-Little-Podcast-2017-06-19– Download Link

We have a full house of hosts tonight including a new face, Kadillac Kim (that’s me, hello). Our guest tonight is award winning disabled athlete, Trevor Snowden. Snowden’s larger than life, hope-filled presence is almost too big for the studio. In 1997, Trevor was preparing for a career in extreme snowboarding when he suffered a catastrophic spinal injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Trevor pulls no punches when talking about how his injury has affected his life. In addition to being an athlete, he is an inventor, video game designer, and rapper. Trevor’s full-length album, The Wheelchair Extraordinaire, is available on iTunes. Listen in for a yet to be released track and Worst Little Podcast exclusive from Trevor and learn about what he has in the works or just where to find him singing karaoke.

Over the years Snowden became increasingly unhappy with the standard wheelchairs insurance provided so he invented his own custom wheelchair specifically designed to provide athletes to stay active. This wheelchair is now known as the Trevair. Trevor’s invention has helped him launch a new off- roading sport, wheelchair supercross. Snowden holds the world record for jumping 55ft over cars in a wheelchair and his stunts have been featured in Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
