Merry Krimble and a ho ho ho!
Worst Little Listeners, thanks for tuning in again and bearing with us for another year. This year we have something truly special to share with you – no, not that we put a down payment on a short-bus
(details soon for the crowdfunder). It just so happens that Reverend Rory’s parents were in town for a little early Christmas! And he was able to fast-talk invite them onto the show! Team Wifey – Diana Dowd and Mikie Ramirez – are also in the room; and let us not forget little Rikku, in for her yearly recording session. Listen in the new year for more outrageous and questionable samples!
Its not the longest show, but we have a lot of fun. There are gifts, embarrassing stories about The Rev, an intern gets a name, all the Christmas wishes and – most importantly – a classic retelling of “The Legend Of Hamburger James And The True Meaning Of Christmas”, as disastrously read by Reverend Rory.
This is our last episode of the year. One Ton Dually will be playing a show with the Riptide Bandits and Dawn of Envy at Davidson’s Distillery on NYE! Please come check it out.
We will see you in January with The Sway, an up-and-coming Reno funk band. From all of us, to all of you – have a joyous and wonderful holiday season. And if you’re not? Hit one of us up, reach out, call a friend, hug a cat – but don’t let it get to you. We love you.
Thanks for Listening.
This week we had a studio full of gingers and boy did things get spicy. Our guest is the one and only John White, joined by our favorite red headed, cookie baking, trivia hosting comedian, Aubrey Forston! Hide your kids, take out your grandmas hearing aids, and press play to hear us reminisce about the excellent weekend that was Marianarchy, snowy pubes, and road head music.
John White has been making records since 2005. He currently has NINE full length albums recorded on his record label Here Here Records. For a dude who’s only 31 years old, that’s quite the feat. Catch John next at The Saint with Johnny Bailey December 30th!
Also joining us this week is the lovely Aubrey Forston, a name you should remember. Aubrey has been performing comedy since coming to Reno. She is also the host of three weekly trivia nights: Tuesday Trivia at Jub Jub’s; Wednesday Trivia at Beck’s Brewhouse; and Sunday Trivia at Shea’s!
