Dan Abbott hails from the East Bay and recently relocated to Reno. Dan talked with us about the inspiration behind his songs, his other bands, and events he has planned for Reno. From the producers: Oskar is a bullied lonely teenage boy living with his mother on a housing estate at the edge of town, when a spate of sinister killings rock the neighbourhood. Eli is the young girl who has just moved in next door. She doesn’t go to school and never leaves the flat by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two become devoted friends. Pan Pantoja is the founder of the Potentialist Workshop as well as many other projects in and around Reno. He was recently named Reno’s 2019 Poet Laureate and continues to perform spoken word around northern Nevada. He also performs with his band, Weapons of Mass Creation, now in it’s fourth iteration. He is a celebrated playwright, muralist, sculptor, painter, and fortune teller. Is there anything this man can’t do?

We have a great time with actors, Aaron and Bryce, and director, Sandra Neace. Accomplished thespians around, they are all excited to bring to life the story of brothers Kip and Ethan. Chris Fox is also bring something new to the stages, and streets of Reno. Longtime punk troubadoor and Reno ambassador to the world, Fox has toured around the world and the nation with many bands for the better part of the last decade. (It’s really hard to catch him in town.) However, for the first time, Fox has put together a compilation of his own songs. Tracked and recorded entirely by his own bad self, the album is a tribute to … well, Chris. The live release was busking around town on Wednesday night and, bittersweetly, all the physical merch he had was sold out quickly! The rest of us will have to wait until Friday to BUY IT ONLINE!
