…but trouble always seems to find him.

Sultry, seductive and psychedelic

Hey everybody! We continue to switch things up on you and keep the show at least as fresh as day old bread! Veteran troubadour and troublemaker, Bruce Lindsay, treats us to some of his poetry and music. He’s a combination of deep waters and a babbling brook – there’s something deep there, amongst the light, shadow and rocks, but sometimes all you get is shallow. Luckily, Lindsay brought his A-game – and a bunch of books CDs and copies of his award-winning movie “Under the Radar”that he gave to us! This cat knows how to treat big-time stars!

his hat.

Nick hits Rory with a curve ball in the middle of the episode – he challenges Reverend Rory and Bruce Lindsay to a poetry read-off. The wordsmiths dust off some works from ye olde Blue Lamp Open Mic days and do battle with literary claymores – Lindsay took the title by the smallest of margins (mostly since I LET HIM win, cause I’m classy like that). It was strangely a lot more fun than it sounds – a rare treat for and from the vaults.

Conflicted, reflective and alliterative

Our main focus this week, aside from all the crazy creativve and wonderful things Bruce Lindsay does, is MARIANARCHY WINTERBALL 2012 – A Benefit for Tom Plunkett!!!!! As if you weren’t aware, Marianarchy is this weekend and we are helping out our good friend, Tom Plunkett, Reno actor, director, musician, personal friend of  Bruce Lindsay AND the show. Nick reads off the list of band names or you can check out the Day 1 lineup here and the Day 2 lineup here. The Rev will be hosting it (Saturday is his birthday)  and we are looking forward to a really really great weekend. Please join us!!!!

Thanks for Listening!!
